Bidfood Farutex becomes the first tenant of the largest speculative building in the history of Prologis

From August 2023, Farutex will occupy 9,795 m² at Prologis Park Wrocław III. This is not the first collaboration between the companies. Bidfood Farutex has occupied 4,811 m² in the neighboring building since 2011.

„Due to the dynamic development of the company, we see a need to increase our warehouse space. We decided to continue our cooperation with Prologis, move to a new building and double our leased space, due to both the strategic location of the facility and the openness to our needs, as well as a number of amenities for employees” – says Łukasz Tuz, Regional Director at Bidfood Farutex, about the continuation of the cooperation. The new DC4 building is a modern warehouse and warehouse-production hall with an area of 49,000 m². Its advantages are not only a great location near the airport and the Wrocław bypass and excellent access to public transport, but above all the functionality of the facility and a wide range of services created with employees in mind. 

The largest speculative warehouse in the company's history will have a clear height of 12 m, reinforced floor load capacity and increased insulation of the hall's walls and roof. Like all newly constructed Prologis buildings, it will be subject to BREEAM accreditation. Furthermore, for greater safety and better employee well-being, the warehouse and office areas will be illuminated by a top-quality LED system. Motion sensors can be programmed according to the client's needs and guidelines, thus allowing for a reduction in lighting costs. The building will be equipped with skylights and window panels in the facade, which will provide up to 12.5% natural light. The building will be equipped with photovoltaic panels and solar collectors.
