Bielenda's central warehouse to be built in Zgierz

Panattoni, the world's most active industrial real estate developer, has secured a new tenant at the expanding Panattoni Park Zgierz II. Bielenda, a leading Polish cosmetics manufacturer, will launch a new central warehouse from which it will distribute products to customers across the country and abroad.

The Bielenda Group has been present on the market for over three decades – it is constantly developing a portfolio of recognizable cosmetic brands, including Bielenda, BodyBoom, Soraya, Tołpa, and Dermika. Its products are available not only in Poland but also in nearly 60 countries around the world, on five continents. The company's growth and increasing sales volumes have generated a need to strengthen its logistics facilities and create a new central warehouse. It will be built at Panattoni Park Zgierz II.

Under the agreement, the company has leased a total of 10,500 sq m of modern warehouse space along with social and office facilities. The new warehouse will begin operations later this year. The facility will employ approximately 40 people.

– „We are pleased that another highly recognizable brand, whose products are known to consumers throughout Poland, is joining the group of tenants at Panattoni Park Zgierz II. The trust that Bielenda has placed in us confirms that our park meets the expectations of the most demanding companies. It is a modern logistics space whose location in the heart of the country enables efficient distribution in all directions. Previously, the same advantages of the investment were also appreciated by a leading drugstore chain” – says Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director at Panattoni.

Panattoni Park Zgierz II is a modern class A logistics center located just 2.5 km from the A2 motorway junction and 13 km from the A1 motorway, which guarantees optimal transport conditions. At the same time, the proximity of Łódź and Zgierz also ensures access to qualified employees. Currently, another 70,000 sq m stage of the investment is under construction – upon its completion, the park will reach 120,000 sq m of space.

The complex will undergo environmental certification using the BREEAM method at a high Excellent level. The facility uses solutions that ensure water savings, and an LCA analysis has been carried out, which allows for the reduction of the embodied carbon footprint. The comfort of users has also been taken care of – including through increased access to daylight and offices that meet high standards of acoustics, thermal comfort, and air quality. The roof of the hall has been adapted for the installation of a photovoltaic system in the future
