Birkenstock opens a factory at the Polish-German border
A factory of the legendary German shoes - Birkenstock - will be established in the German city of Pasewalk, located just 30 km from Szczecin.
In Germany, finishing works are ongoing at the factory of the well-known shoe manufacturer - Birkenstock. The plant is located near the Polish-German border. The factory is looking for workers, and the interest in working there among Poles is tremendous. About 120 million euros have been allocated for the investment, which is the largest investment in the company's history. The shoe factory of the popular German brand Birkenstock was built in the German Pasewalk, 30 kilometers from the Polish border and just over half an hour's drive from Szczecin.
Birkenstock is one of the most recognizable German brands and ranks among the largest shoe manufacturers in the world.
