Panattoni and Marvipol have sold two urban parks in Warsaw to LaSalle Investment Management. The facilities with a total area of nearly 25,000 sq m were sold for approx. 30 million euros.
Panattoni and Marvipol Development have signed an agreement for the sale of City Logistics Warsaw Airport I and City Logistics Warsaw II to LaSalle Investment Management, a company managing investments in the real estate market. The finalization of the agreement should take place by the end of June this year. Both parks consist of modern class A buildings with an area of 10,715 sq m and nearly 14,000 sq m respectively. The facilities are fully leased and their advantage is their excellent location within the administrative boundaries of Warsaw. City Logistics Warsaw Airport I is located just 6 km from the airport and 9 km from the capital's center, right next to the Opacz junction connecting the S2 and S8 routes, ensuring an ideal connection both with the center of Warsaw and the entire country. City Logistics Warsaw II is located on Odlewnicza Street, in the heart of the industrial and service district of Annopol. Thanks to the short distance from the Center and the immediate vicinity of the Toruńska Route, the park ensures regular and timely deliveries throughout Warsaw.
"Urban parks are enjoying huge popularity because the location of a facility within the city significantly facilitates efficient distribution of goods at the final stage of the so-called "last mile" – explains Robert Dobrzycki, CEO of Panattoni. - "This is particularly important in the case of logistics operators and companies from the e-commerce industry. A location inside the city also ensures the possibility of using excellent infrastructure and a wide pool of highly qualified staff".
Urban parks offer universal and at the same time flexible space that can be adapted to the needs of clients from various industries. Due to their location within cities, they are used not only as a base for logistics operations, but also as a location for a company office or showroom.
