Construction of City Logistics Poznań II with an area of 12,750 sqm begins.

Panattoni is developing the City Logistics segment in the largest metropolitan areas. The developer is starting construction of its second facility in the capital of Wielkopolska. City Logistics Poznań II will be built on ul. Węgorka, providing convenient connections to the city center and proximity to the A2 and S11 junction. The value of the investment will amount to 17 million euros.

Panattoni is expanding its portfolio within the borders of the country's largest metropolitan areas. As part of the City Logistics segment, the developer has delivered, among others, over 122,000 sqm in Wrocław, over 136,000 sqm in Warsaw, and over 200,000 sqm in Łódź, where the vacancy rate within urban investments is only about 2 percent. Success and huge demand are driving investments in subsequent locations – such as Kraków, Katowice, or Poznań. It is in the capital of Wielkopolska that the developer is starting its second urban investment – City Logistics Poznań II. The facility with a planned area of 12,750 sqm will be built on ul. Węgorka, supporting the development of a new logistics and industrial zone in the western part of the city – 7 km from its center.

„The urban location of City Logistics Poznań II guarantees excellent access to all of Poznań's infrastructure, such as buses, trams, bicycle paths, or the railway station. The strategic location will enable efficient recruitment of employees who value a quick commute to work and will guarantee companies convenient access to the target customer”. – says Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director at Panattoni. –„A huge location advantage is also the proximity of the A2 motorway and the S5 and S11 expressways, which gives local enterprises the opportunity to develop, as they will gain a very good connection to most domestic and foreign markets” – she adds.

Another step on the way to two million. Panattoni is constantly developing its Wielkopolska portfolio, where in Q1 2023 alone it delivered almost 60,000 sqm, exceeding 1.5 million sqm of total completed space. The developer is responding to the unflagging demand in the region, which in 2022 amounted to approx. 700,000 sqm, placing Wielkopolska among the five most desirable markets. The attractiveness of the Poznań market is driven by its excellent location – halfway between Warsaw and Berlin – which attracts, among others, e-commerce or logistics giants.
