Construction of Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz II completed

Panattoni has completed the construction of Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz II. The investment with an area of 36,500 sq m was built within the city limits, on the investment grounds of Bydgoszcz.

So far, the developer has delivered over 170,000 sq m in the region, including two distribution centers – Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz I and II. The latter has just been commissioned, and among the tenants are logistics companies, including Nissin Logistics, which has taken 18,300 sq m, and the company Inpost with approx. 5,000 sq m leased. Panattoni's activity in Bydgoszcz is the company's response to the constantly growing demand of the local market for modern warehouse space.

"Bydgoszcz is one of the best emerging locations. This is determined by, among other things, efficiently operating easier recruitment of employees than in leading markets, but above all by the road infrastructure developing in the region. New expressways, especially the S5 currently under construction, will increase the attractiveness of Bydgoszcz and Kuyavia for both logistics and production companies. The opening of subsequent sections is to take place in 2020, and a fast connection between the region's capital and Wrocław, Poznań and Gdańsk will be possible in 2022” - comments Tomasz Śrama, Senior Development Manager - „Our activity in the region is also due to the consistently implemented policy of supporting investments and entrepreneurs by the City of Bydgoszcz and the Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency”.

According to the Mayor of Bydgoszcz, Rafał Bruski: „The spectacular development of Panattoni's investments in Bydgoszcz confirms the fact that our city stands out positively among the most interesting new locations for production and logistics activities in Poland. This is an important sector for the further development of the local economy, which is why we are consistently strengthening our offer, taking care, among other things, of providing well-connected and serviced investment areas, as well as supporting investors, e.g., through the activities of the Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency. We are pleased that they appreciate such assets of the city as human capital, a favorable and prospective location, or the availability of areas ready for further investments”.

"The fact that Bydgoszcz has been noticed by large international developers, such as Panattoni, has allowed it to emerge in recent years as a strong economic center in the area of warehousing and distribution of goods. Modern production and warehouse facilities of a high standard are being built in our city at a fast pace – their total resources already amount to approx. 411,700 sq m, and over 143,500 sq m are still under construction and in the nearest plans. A strong and still developing production sector, the central location of Bydgoszcz on the map of Poland, access to an international airport, as well as convenient connection with seaports in the Tri-City and large economic centers, such as Berlin or Wrocław – these are important factors speaking in favor of our city in the perspective of further development of the TSL industry and the choice of this location by subsequent investors. This is confirmed both by increasingly frequent inquiries about Bydgoszcz flowing to our Agency, as well as indicators testifying to the continuous development of enterprises that are already operating in our city" – comments Edyta Wiwatowska, President of the Management Board of the Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency.

Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz II is nearly 36,500 sq m of modern industrial space within the building. The complex was built within the city limits, near the Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park, just 3 km from the city bypass and national road No. 80, and 9 km from the junction with the S10 expressway. The park's flexible modules can be used for storage or light production, and the area around the building will be equipped with convenient maneuvering yards and spacious parking lots. The investment has a BREEAM certificate.
