Construction of two Hillwood buildings in Wrocław has started

Hillwood has started construction of another two buildings as part of the Hillwood Wrocław Wschód logistics center. Warehouses with an area of nearly 38,000 sqm will be commissioned in the second quarter of 2021. The entire warehouse park will consist of seven halls and will offer tenants a total of over 210,000 sqm. The buildings completed so far, which have been commissioned successively since 2016, have already been fully leased.

The logistics center is located on a 50-hectare plot in the village of Wojkowice, in the Żórawina municipality, right at the Krajków junction on the A4 motorway. The warehouse park is located just 20 km from the center of Wrocław and 25 km from the Wrocław-Starachowice airport. 

"Our investment near Wrocław enjoys great interest among tenants. This is a large project implemented in stages. All halls in the logistics park are also adapted for light production. An important argument for companies locating their facilities at Hillwood Wrocław Wschód is excellent access to qualified employees and proximity to public transport. A bus stop is located just 100 meters from the investment, and the bus journey to Wrocław takes about 25 minutes. The center also has a direct entrance to the A4 motorway junction" – says Hubert Michalak, President of the Management Board of Hillwood Polska.  

The Wrocław Wschód park consists of high-bay warehouse halls with a height of 10 m. As in all of the developer's buildings, LED lighting will be installed in the warehouse under construction. Additionally, the investment will be equipped with a photovoltaic installation. The building will be protected and monitored 24 hours a day. The warehouse park area will include a large and convenient parking lot for tenants and their contractors. As part of the project, Hillwood also built an access road with a roundabout.
The market for modern warehouse space in Wrocław and the entire region is developing dynamically. In the third quarter of this year, Lower Silesia was the third largest market in the country in terms of tenant activity. According to market data, from July to September this year, companies leased a total of 147,000 sqm of modern warehouse space here, and since the beginning of the year – 325,000 sqm.
