Construction work on a modern warehouse hall for the company GTV has been completed at the MLP Pruszków II park. Representatives of MLP Group, the tenant, the general contractor Pekabex, and subcontractors took part in the symbolic topping-out ceremony. According to the plans, the handover of the completed 32,000 sqm facility is scheduled for April of this year.
The construction of the modern facility, intended for an international manufacturer of furniture accessories and LED lighting, is proceeding according to plan. A key stage of the investment, for which the company Pekabex is responsible, has been completed. The traditional topping-out ceremony was attended by representatives of GTV, the general contractor – the company Pekabex, subcontractors, and MLP Group.
The investment, carried out as part of the MLP Pruszków II logistics park, will provide approximately 32,000 sqm of modern space. Of this, GTV intends to allocate over 30,200 sqm for warehouse purposes. Meanwhile, large modern glazed office spaces on three floors will occupy another 1,600 sqm. Construction of the new D1 hall began in August of last year. The handover of the new building to the tenant is planned for April of this year.
Hall D1 is the largest facility among all those being built by Pekabex at the MLP Pruszków II park. It will feature 38 loading docks. Within the logistics complex, it will stand out with a new "checkerboard" facade in green and gray colors. Pekabex plans to obtain a BREEAM New Construction certificate at the Very Good level for this investment. D1 is also the first hall at the MLP Pruszków II park where MLP Group has implemented the Dalux electronic construction documentation platform.
This is our tenth joint contract with MLP Group. I am very proud that Pekabex, as one of the largest construction companies in Poland, was chosen by you to build the D1 hall and that we can boast that we have completed 1/3 of the warehouse space in the Park in Pruszków. I hope that many more joint activities and such meetings celebrating successes lie ahead of us. I wish the tenant – the company GTV – that the hall is used comfortably and with pleasure – said Tomasz Seremet, Member of the Management Board of Pekabex S.A.
The MLP Pruszków II logistics center is one of the largest warehouse complexes in the Warsaw metropolitan area. It is also one of the most popular and fastest-growing projects in our national portfolio. The new facility being built for GTV is another investment intended for our long-term partner, who currently already uses over 20,000 sqm of modern space. We would like to thank the company Pekabex for the efficient execution of the project. The still large potential for expanding the logistics park allows us to grow together with our tenants and thus flexibly adapt our offer to their increasing needs – added Tomasz Zabost, Member of the Management Board of MLP Group S.A.
MLP Pruszków II is a modern logistics center located near Warsaw, in the Brwinów municipality, 5 km from Pruszków. It is the largest complex in the region, with a target leasable area of 420,000 sqm. Selected buildings hold the prestigious BREEAM certificate. In accordance with the MLP Group ESG strategy, photovoltaic installations are being mounted on the roofs.
Thanks to a flexible approach to the individual needs of tenants, the center is able to meet the requirements of clients from various industries.
By choosing a build-to-suit facility from MLP Group, we were able to adapt the warehouse, office, and their layout to the characteristics of our business and the logistics operations we conduct. These are diverse, as in the GTV offer we have an assortment from many product groups: from furniture accessories, through sliding systems and LED lighting, to hand tools and health and safety clothing. In total, this is nearly 12,000 products. When choosing a new logistics complex, we could also not overlook pro-ecological issues, which is why it is very important to us that the buildings at the MLP Pruszków II park are environmentally friendly and hold a BREEAM certificate – comments Arkadiusz Marcyjanik, Logistics Director at GTV.
MLP Pruszków II has developed transport connections both with the center of Warsaw and with the main arteries connecting the capital with other cities. The park is located between local road no. 760 and a section of the A2 motorway, 3 km from the transport hub located in the Pruszków-Żbików area. International railway lines run nearby, which provide excellent logistics conditions for both domestic and international distribution. There is a bus stop on the park grounds
