Copper-Joint, a Chinese company, has become the new tenant at LCube Szczecin Goleniów. The manufacturer of solutions for the energy industry will commence its expansion in Poland by renting over 5,000 sqm of production space and approximately 170 sqm of office space. From the legal side, LCube was supported by the LegalHub law firm, while on the Copper-Joint side, the Domański Zakrzewski Palinka law firm worked.
The LCube Szczecin Goleniów logistics and production park is located in Łozienica, within the Goleniów Industrial Park, in the immediate vicinity of the S3, S6 expressways and the A6 motorway, leading to Berlin. The excellent location of the park will enable tenants not only to quickly distribute goods on the Polish market but also to Scandinavia, Germany, and further west. The direct proximity of the Goleniów Industrial Park, where companies associated with the energy industry, especially working for the wind energy segment, decided to invest, is also an advantage of this location.
Our facility will be the first industrial and warehouse location of Copper-Joint in Poland, which is a great success of the entire LCube team. The new tenant, in addition to a conveniently located logistics location in Western Pomerania, was looking for a space where warehouse functions could be combined with light production. We are currently preparing the space according to the tenant's specifications, which will be handed over to Copper-Joint at the end of October - says
Piotrek Krawczyk, Senior Leasing Manager at LCube.Copper-Joint, based in Suzhou, was founded in 2007 and is a provider of services and solutions in the electric energy, wind energy, and electric vehicle industry. It is one of the leading OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for wind power. The company's clients include Vestas, Simens, GE, and Eaton. The company, in addition to China, is also present in North America and Europe. As the new tenant declares, at LCube Szczecin Goleniów, 15-20 people are expected to find work at the new company location.
The Szczecin and Goleniów region is a very interesting place on the map of Europe from the perspective of wind energy. There are many manufacturers here, and at the same time, the Baltic Sea has a very high potential for the development of this market segment. As one of the leading suppliers for the leaders of this industry, we wanted to be as close as possible to the beating heart of this business, hence the choice of our first location in Poland - says
Earl Lee, Operations Director at Copper-Joint.The park in Goleniów offers tenants 11,000 sqm of modern warehouse space and 1,100 sqm of office space. The entire project has the highest standard of fire resistance, above 4000 MJ. LCube Szczecin Goleniów was also designed according to the BREEAM certification criteria at the "very good" level.
In December last year, LCube reported the sale of the facility in Goleniów. The buyer was a fund managed by IPOPEMA Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych S.A. Importantly, the agreement for further cooperation between the investor and the developer provides that LCube is still responsible for the implementation and commercialization of the project.
LCube, in addition to investing in Goleniów, is currently implementing and commercializing three other projects: LCube Rzeszów Airport (25,800 sqm), LCube Wrocław East (almost 60,000 sqm), and LCube Mszczonów (approx. 33,000 sqm).
LCube plans to purchase at least six more plots for warehouse projects this year, which will allow the delivery of 200,000 sqm by the end of 2024 as part of logistics and production parks. The developer in January this year already bought another plot in Dobrzykowice near Wrocław and secured two other locations near Krakow and in the vicinity of Warsaw.
