CTPark Warsaw Emilianów received the BREEAM certificate at the highest Outstanding level with a score of 89.1 percent. The park under construction in the Radzymin municipality is also almost fully commercialized, and the ALDI chain has become the largest tenant of the first building.
89.1 percent in BREEAM certification
The facility was among the logistics investments with the highest rating in the BREEAM system. The certification process analyzed, among others, energy efficiency, water management, materials used, the impact of the investment on biodiversity, and the quality of the indoor environment.
The final score of 89.1 percent allowed the investment to achieve the Outstanding rating.
Kajima Poland was responsible for the general contracting, carrying out the investment in the „design and build” formula. The certification process was conducted by JWA.
ALDI leased 43 thousand sqm
The ALDI chain became the largest tenant of the first WEMI 01 building. The company leased approximately 43 thousand sqm of warehouse and office space, which is nearly 80 percent of the entire facility.
The third ALDI distribution center in Poland was established in Emilianów. The facility currently serves 120 stores located in the central and north-eastern parts of the country.
Over 13 thousand sqm of cold stores and freezers
The center has been adapted to handle products requiring a controlled temperature.
Over 13 thousand sqm of space was allocated for cold stores and freezers. They use a glycol installation equipped with a waste heat recovery system.
Such a solution allows the use of energy generated during the operation of refrigeration installations and reduces the facility's demand for additional heat sources.
Over 119 thousand sqm of target space
CTPark Warsaw Emilianów is being built in the Radzymin municipality, about 30 km from Warsaw.
Ultimately, the entire complex will consist of three class A production and warehouse halls with a total area exceeding 119 thousand sqm.
Directly by the S8 route
One of the most important advantages of the investment is access to the S8 expressway.
The location enables efficient service of the Warsaw agglomeration, and at the same time provides a connection to routes leading towards north-eastern and central Poland.
The combination of the large scale of the project, the high level of commercialization, and the BREEAM Outstanding certification makes CTPark Warsaw Emilianów stand out against the background of new warehouse investments in the region.
