The Reico Long Lease fund, affiliated with Česká spořitelna, has acquired a logistics center in Bydgoszcz owned by LPP. The facility has over 100,000 sqm of space and is leased by an international clothing chain.
The owners of one of the larger logistics spaces in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship have changed. The facility previously owned by LPP Distribution Center has been sold to the Reico Long Lease fund, managed by Reico IS EAM from the Česká spořitelna banking group (Erste Group).
The hall, located in Bydgoszcz, was commissioned in the first quarter of 2022. The total leasable area exceeds 103,000 sqm, and the building meets the requirements of BREEAM environmental certification at the Excellent level. The tenant remains an international clothing industry chain.
The transaction fits into a broader trend of foreign funds investing in warehouse facilities in Poland. Long-term leased properties with high environmental standards and a stable tenant remain an attractive asset, despite rising financing costs and economic uncertainty.
The legal support for the sales process was handled by the Greenberg Traurig law firm team led by Filip Janeczka (Counsel), with the support of Mateusz Rydzewski (Senior Associate) and Justyna Kozik (Associate). Financial matters were overseen by partner Agnieszka Stankiewicz, and the entire project was coordinated by the aforementioned Karol Brzoskowski.
Reico IS, the manager of the Long Lease fund, manages a portfolio of commercial real estate in Central and Eastern Europe. In recent years, this fund has focused on acquiring long-term leased assets that fit the “core+” model.
The transaction amount has not been disclosed.
