DB Schenker is the new tenant of Hillwood Rawicz
A global logistics operator – DB Schenker – has leased over 17,000 sqm in the Hillwood Rawicz warehouse center. The global logistics giant will serve a client producing high-end optical products and sports accessories at this facility.
DB Schenker is one of the world's leading logistics operators, employing approximately 72,700 people in over 1,850 locations across 130 countries. The company provides land, air, and ocean transport services, and also offers comprehensive solutions in contract logistics and global supply chain management. In Poland, DB Schenker has a strong logistics network consisting of 18 transshipment terminals, 15 logistics warehouses, 3 air freight offices, 2 ocean freight offices, and a central customs agency.
At the Hillwood Rawicz warehouse center, the global logistics giant has leased 17,000 sqm of warehouse space and 330 sqm for offices. It will soon launch its 16th warehouse location here.

The space was designed to meet the logistics needs of a manufacturer of optical products, and the assortment stored here will include over 30,000 types of items, so-called SKUs. From here, they will be sent to recipients all over the world. Hillwood Rawicz, a class A warehouse center, has obtained a BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level. The park offers nearly 147,000 sqm of modern warehouse space. Located in Korzeńsko in the Żmigród municipality, on the border of the Greater Poland and Lower Silesian voivodeships, by the S5 expressway connecting Poznań and Wrocław, the logistics park provides excellent national and international connections.The first stage of the investment, covering the construction of nearly 54,000 sqm of logistics and warehouse space in building A, was completed in February of this year. The efficient realization of the project was possible thanks to close cooperation with the authorities of the Żmigród Municipality. The completion of the project coincided with the first lease agreement, exceeding 17,000 sqm, which is used for the logistics and warehousing of the tenant's fashion assortment.
