The retail chain Dino Polska is beginning the construction of a new distribution center in Zawiercie. The facility, covering approximately 45,000 sqm, will be one of the key elements of the company's logistics infrastructure in southern Poland.

Construction is being handled by Grupa Antczak, which is acting as the general contractor for the investment.

A complex tailored for FMCG logistics

The new center has been designed to handle a wide range of food products. The facility will include:

• a freezer and cold storage room,
• temperature-controlled warehouses,
• a dry warehouse,
• office and social facilities,
• technical infrastructure, internal roads, and parking lots.

Such solutions will enable comprehensive supply chain management in the FMCG segment.

Modern technologies and ecological solutions

The project involves the implementation of advanced technologies to increase energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Among them are:

• a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of 1 MW,
• heat recovery systems from refrigeration installations,
• the use of the natural refrigerant CO₂,
• solutions supporting the optimization of energy consumption.
