DPD Polska is expanding its presence in the Hillwood Ruda Śląska park. The company has leased an additional 4 700 sqm of space, which is a response to the growing volume of handled parcels.

After the expansion is completed, the operator will use nearly 18 000 sqm of modern warehouse space.

Larger space, greater efficiency

The expansion of logistics facilities is expected to directly translate into:

  • more efficient handling of the growing number of parcels,
  • improved operational efficiency,
  • increased development opportunities in the region.

This is another example of how courier operators are strengthening their infrastructure in response to the dynamic development of the e-commerce market.

Expansion without interrupting operations

The space expansion process has been planned so as not to disrupt current activities. Construction work will be carried out in parallel with logistics operations, which will allow maintaining the continuity of customer service.

Strong position of the logistics park

Hillwood Ruda Śląska is a modern complex offering over 63 000 sqm of space intended for logistics, e-commerce, and light manufacturing.

Flexible lease modules and a high technical standard make the park attract the biggest market players.

Strategic location in the heart of the agglomeration

The investment is located in Ruda Śląska, within the Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowska Metropolia. The location provides:

  • quick access to the A1 and A4 motorways,
  • direct connections to key routes in the region,
  • convenient access to airports in Katowice and Kraków.

Such a location enables efficient distribution on both the domestic and international markets.

Silesia remains a logistics hub

The expansion of DPD Polska confirms the growing importance of Silesia as one of the most important logistics centers in Poland.

Access to transport infrastructure, a large labor market, and developed industrial facilities make the region remain a key location for companies developing warehouse and courier operations.
