DSV Prime Cargo doubles its occupied space at Panattoni Park Goleniów

The potential of Western Pomerania is being recognized by subsequent tenants. One of them is the international logistics forwarder DSV Prime Cargo, which has extended its lease agreement at Panattoni Park Goleniów, while doubling it to nearly 10,000 sqm. The park, located close to the western border and the Szczecin-Goleniów Airport, provides the company with excellent connections to both the German and Scandinavian markets.

The West Pomeranian market is growing year by year. The proximity of the western border and excellent connection with Berlin, as well as the pro-business policy of local authorities, attract more companies and drive the construction of further industrial facilities. In Szczecin and the surrounding area, over 800,000 sqm of warehouse space has already been built, and it will likely be the sixth market in Poland to exceed one million.

"Western Pomerania is a region with huge potential and constantly growing interest from tenants. Reports for 2020 showed that it is a market practically devoid of vacancies, and we feel this particularly. We have delivered 265,000 sqm here and we are constantly being approached by those interested in new space or expanding the space already occupied, as in the case of DSV Prime Cargo at Panattoni Park Goleniów" – says Weronika Mioduszewska, Senior Leasing Manager at Panattoni.

The international logistics forwarder, which is part of DSV Panalpina, previously occupied 4,480 sqm, and from now on will use an additional 4,900 sqm. The company at Panattoni Park Goleniów conducted operations for B2B sector clients. With the construction of a mezzanine system, the ability to serve e-commerce companies will increase, and the scope of services will also include returns handling. The space leased by DSV Prime Cargo has been adapted to the company's needs. The floor load capacity in the facility is 5t/sqm, and the fire load exceeds 4000 MJ/sqm. In addition, the warehouse will feature as many as 50 docks.

DSV Prime Cargo is a company operating on 5 continents, offering transport and logistics services dedicated to both e-commerce & fashion sectors, as well as the alcohol and tobacco industries (bonded warehouse, VAS services e.g. tax stamping), and also providing solutions for high-value products.

Panattoni Park Goleniów, thanks to its proximity to the A6 motorway, provides a convenient connection to both Berlin and key Polish metropolises. Furthermore, the park allows for efficient access to the Szczecin-Goleniów Airport, and also benefits from the presence of the Szczecin-Świnoujście Seaport in the region. After declines in the first months of the pandemic, in April this year, it recorded an 18 percent increase in transshipments y/y, and in the first four months of this year, both ports recorded 12 percent increases compared to the same period in 2020.

Panattoni Park Goleniów is a complex of 2 class A warehouse buildings with a target area of 54,260 sqm, of which nearly 20,000 sqm has been built so far. The logistics center meets the needs of clients from various industries and has been equipped with loading docks, ground-level entry gates, spacious maneuvering areas, and additional parking spaces. Both buildings under construction are certified to the BREEAM Very Good standard.
