E-commerce and automotive park at Panattoni Park Tychy

Panattoni is expanding Panattoni Park Tychy so that the investment will ultimately reach 80,000 sqm. In the complex under construction, 23,150 sqm have been leased by the Tiberina Group and U-Form, which was recognized in 2020 as the best supplier of metal body components for the FCA group in the EMEA region. The company specializes in the production of aluminum components for passenger vehicles using an innovative technological process. The company is starting operations in Poland and has chosen the Tychy complex for its first location. The enterprise will enter the park in the fourth quarter of 2021.

„The leases of both the Tiberina Group and Nodium once again confirm that Panattoni is an excellent partner in development, whether entering the Polish market or consolidating and increasing space. Investments by automotive companies with an intercontinental reach – such as Tiberina - make Poland an important link in the automotive industry, which is one of the most significant sectors in the global economy. In the case of the development of the Nodium Group, it is particularly pleasing that an increasingly larger piece of the e-commerce pie belongs to Polish enterprises, and the revenues of Nodium alone in 2020 exceeded 100 million PLN net. Furthermore, in 2020 alone, 12,000 new online stores were registered in the country, and their number at the beginning of this year was 21.5 percent higher than a year earlier. The growth of Polish e-commerce is undeniable, and Panattoni is further fueling it with its projects.” - explains Tomasz Sikora, Leasing Manager at Panattoni.

The Polish Nodium Group will also enter Panattoni Park Tychy, occupying 15,300 sqm. The company is the owner of two online platforms – sport.shop.pl – one of the largest sports online stores in Poland and nodik.pl with children's assortment. It was the development of both brands that caused the company to consolidate and also increase its existing warehouse space within Panattoni Park Tychy.

Panattoni Park Tychy is a complex of 2 buildings with a planned area of approx. 80,000 sqm. The investment is located just 5 km from the A1 motorway connecting the southern and northern borders of Poland and 2 km from the DK44 road leading to Kraków, which ensures efficient road transport within the Silesian region, the entire country, and southern Europe. The park is located close to the Czech and Slovak borders – and three airports – in Kraków, Katowice, and Ostrava. Panattoni Park Tychy meets the needs of various industries and will work well for both warehousing processes and light production. The specificity of the park also allows for flexible shaping of office and warehouse modules.
