The expansion covers the Hama Polska complex, which is located in Robakowo (Poznań county, Kórnik municipality) and consists of a warehouse with an area of 4.5 thousand sq. m. and a three-story office building (2 thousand sq. m.). The investment completed in 2008 was also designed and implemented by us.
"We received the decision to entrust us with the expansion of the Hama Polska complex with great satisfaction" – says Janusz Signetzki, Vice President of the Management Board of WPIP. – "We have experience and knowledge in the design and construction of warehouse space. We intend to use this to successfully complete another investment of this type that we are carrying out in Greater Poland. We are happy that we can participate in the dynamic development of the Hama Polska company."
"Once again, we have trusted WPIP, entrusting it with the construction of our new warehouse hall not only because of a good offer, the philosophy of sustainable development, and positive experiences resulting from cooperation on the project implemented in 2008, but also because of the reputation our general contractor enjoys on the market" – adds Małgorzata Deckinger, President of the Management Board of Hama Polska. – "This choice fits into our philosophy of supporting local companies, an example of which is Wielkopolskie Przedsiębiorstwo Inżynierii Przemysłowej."
The new investment, which we designed and are implementing, started in December 2022. The warehouse hall is being expanded, which will be enriched by 4.5 thousand sq. m., which will increase the area to 9 thousand sq. m. However, its volume will increase by over 100 percent. The reason is the greater height of the new hall. It will be 16 m.
The new facility will have, among other things, a sprinkler system. The hall will be equipped with an LMR600 system steel roof, designed for the collision-free installation of a photovoltaic system. It will also be a component of the entire investment. Additionally, a social and technical part with an area of 200 sq. m. will be built, as well as external infrastructure, which will include: a new entrance to the plot, internal roads and parking lots, and a pump room, fire-fighting and retention tanks. The completion date for all work is October 2023.
