In the autumn, the area of the Fey factory will increase to 18,000 sqm. The two-story office building will have an area of 500 sqm. The new production hall with an area of 4,000 sqm will be equipped with a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of 50 kWp, with the possibility of further expansion.
„The expansion of the plant is the next stage of a consistently implemented strategy, resulting in the strengthening of our position on the market thanks to an increasing number of orders. We intend to increase employment at the plant. We are looking for approx. 70 people, including production and office workers." - says Zbigniew Rogulski, Chief Operating Officer at Fey.
The expanding complex is located in Topole near Chojnice (Pomeranian Voivodeship), surrounded by the Tuchola Forest. It consists of production, office and warehouse space and belongs to the Fey company, which is part of the German capital group FEY & Co. GmbH, one of the leading European manufacturers of continental beds.
The general contractor for the investment is WPIP Construction.
„The contract we have concluded with the renowned manufacturer of beds and mattresses means that we are strengthening our position among the leading general contractors carrying out industrial investments in Poland. Participation in the development of the Fey company will mean that after the expansion of the plant, the manufacturer will be able to mark its presence more strongly on European markets. This is our trusted partner, with whom we have been cooperating since 2017." - says Janusz Signetzki, President of the Management Board of WPIP Construction.
WPIP's tasks also include the construction of external infrastructure, including parking spaces.
The completion of the investment is planned for October 2024.
