The first tenants are occupying space in two new warehouses completed by HelloParks in Hungary. The halls in Fót and Maglód were designed with urban logistics in mind. Following the commissioning of the two new facilities, the HelloParks portfolio has increased to 150,000 sqm.
The MG3 warehouse in Maglód (46,000 sqm) received its occupancy permit in January of this year, and FT6 in Fót (26,000 sqm) in March. Loginvent and Well Pack Kft. have signed lease agreements for a total of 10,000 sqm in MG3, while the companies Beta Hungary, Keber Germany Precision Machinery, Kopos Elektro Kereskedelmi és Gyártó, and Serveone Hungary have leased a total of 7,600 sqm in FT6 City Flex.
MG3 is the first warehouse in Hungary to achieve the BREEAM New Construction certificate at the highest possible Outstanding level. The hall uses energy from rooftop photovoltaic panels, and electric vehicle charging stations have been installed on the premises.
The FT6 hall was also built in accordance with BREEAM New Construction standards at the Outstanding level. It is the first HelloParks urban warehouse to offer smaller spaces for rent, starting from 1,000 sqm. The lower ceiling height and smaller building dimensions make the warehouse suitable for companies involved in urban logistics and light manufacturing.
HelloParks tenants can use an application that, by connecting to building automation systems, provides information on energy consumption and allows for the regulation of ventilation, heating, and lighting, among other things.
Since our inception in 2020, we have been building our warehouses exclusively in accordance with the highest categories of BREEAM standards. Currently, all our new investments are already being built in accordance with the requirements of the European Union Taxonomy and Outstanding level certification – emphasizes Rudolf Nemes, CEO of HelloParks.
The company HelloParks belongs to the Futureal Group. Its portfolio currently includes 150,000 sqm of warehouse space in Hungary. By the end of the year, the developer will commission another 103,000 sqm of warehouse space, including 45,000 sqm of FT2 in Fót and 58,000 sqm of PT1 in Páty. In 2023, the company also began construction at its fourth location in Hungary. The warehouse in Alsónémedi with an area of 60,000 sqm is expected to be ready in the second quarter of 2024.
