Panattoni, the leader of the industrial space market in Europe, has started the 20,000 sq m expansion of the production and warehouse complex of Flextronics International Poland Sp. z o.o. in Tczew. The ceremonial laying of the cornerstone took place on October 11. The 80,000 sq m factory currently includes 4 buildings and is one of the company's largest centers in Europe.
Support in every location. Flex is dynamically developing its operations in Poland within two centers – Tczew and Łódź. A few years ago, Panattoni delivered the first warehouse building for the company in central Poland, and another space this year. Now it is starting a new project within the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone. Talks are underway regarding projects in further locations.
In Tczew, the developer will expand one of the existing halls by 20,000 sq m, within which Flex conducts production operations. The expansion will be completed in March 2023, and the entire complex will exceed 100,000 sq m of industrial space. As part of the hall expansion, Panattoni will perform, among others, a sprinkler system to the FM Global standard and a floor with increased load-bearing capacity. The developer will also equip the facility with a number of sustainable solutions that will allow it to achieve the Excellent level in BREEAM certification. In addition, users will benefit from, among other things, parking spaces intended for carsharing, as well as recreation zones.
Within the campus in Tczew, Flex provides comprehensive solutions in the field of product development, including engineering, testing, production, and integrated supply chain services in many market segments. The existing building before the expansion was purchased by Panattoni on a sale & leaseback agreement basis.

The company's complex in Tczew is a well-functioning organism, and every expansion must be a carefully planned operation that will not disturb its harmony. In such activities, Panattoni proves to be a reliable partner. The laying of the cornerstone is the first stage of the construction itself, but the next stage of fruitful cooperation between technologically advanced enterprises that perfectly understand their needs – says
Marek Foryński, BTS Managing Director at Panattoni and adds: -
We are also pleased that we are adding another successful sale & leaseback transaction to our portfolio, confirming our versatility.
