GLP expands its portfolio near Warsaw with two warehouses in Janki

GLP has purchased a warehouse center with an area of 37.6 thousand sqm in Janki near Warsaw. The park consists of two buildings and is fully leased by large companies in the transport and forwarding industry, as well as those involved in the import of food products.
The buildings purchased by GLP are located a few minutes from the intersection of the S7 and S8 expressways. This is a popular location for big-box warehouses, whose tenants require easy access to the Warsaw market, as well as to major centers in central and southern Poland.

The purchased properties will now operate under the name GLP Warsaw VII Logistics Centre. GLP will work with their tenants to introduce additional sustainable development solutions and raise the level of BREEAM certification for the benefit of current and future users.

In Poland, GLP is currently the owner and manager of a portfolio of logistics projects with a total area of 1.5 million sqm. Buildings with a total area of 283 thousand sqm are in preparation.

Marek Jandous, Investments and Asset Management Director CEE at GLP Europe comments: “This is another acquisition that strengthens GLP's presence and experience in key markets in Central Europe. Thanks to this transaction, we now manage six completed and fully leased logistics parks in the vicinity of Warsaw. We also have another project in the pipeline.”
