GLP Park Lędziny II is already under construction and has its first tenant

GLP has started construction of its second logistics center in Lędziny. The building will ultimately have 40,000 sqm of space, and the first tenant is D&H Engineering, which specializes in advanced metal component processing for the automotive sector.

GLP Park Lędziny II is located at the S1 route junction, about 10 minutes from the A4 motorway, on one of the main transport routes in southern Poland. The investment is planned with the needs of forwarding, international logistics, and light production in mind.

10,500 sqm has already been leased by D&H Engineering, which specializes in metal component processing using CNC machines and serves global customers from the automotive, off-road, hydraulic, and engineering sectors.

Like all new GLP buildings in Poland, Park Lędziny II will also stand out for its energy-saving solutions and those that limit the investment's impact on the local ecosystem. The facility is being built in accordance with BREEAM certification requirements at the "Excellent" level.

A photovoltaic installation with a capacity of approx. 3MW will be built on the roof of the building. Smart metering and energy-saving LED lighting will be used in the hall. The project will also include a biodiverse, green environment.

"Lędziny is a strategic location for us. By investing in a modern production plant at GLP Park Lędziny II, we are strengthening our position in the region and getting closer to key business partners, such as Brembo, who expect the highest quality and reliability in deliveries. This plant will be equipped with innovative production lines using advanced robots, which not only facilitate the work of personnel but also significantly increase the efficiency and repeatability of processes, which translates into products of the highest precision. Thanks to the proximity of major transport routes and the advanced solutions offered by GLP, we can respond even more effectively to the needs of our clients in the automotive, off-road, and engineering industries" – says Robert Koślicki, CEO of D&H Engineering.

"Our operations in Lędziny are also an opportunity for the local community. We plan to create new jobs, offering employment both for specialists in the field of advanced technologies and for people ready to develop their skills in an automated production environment. The investment in Lędziny is also a confirmation of our ability to implement ambitious projects, which underscores our commitment to long-term partnerships with global leaders such as Brembo" – adds the CEO.

"We are extremely pleased that D&H Engineering has trusted GLP and decided to choose GLP Lędziny II for its new production plant in Upper Silesia. We are convinced that the excellent location, the best technical specification on the market, and a proven development team will be the foundation for the success of our new project." – says Marcin Żuchniewicz, Business Development Manager at GLP.

The general contractor for GLP Park Lędziny II is Bremer, and the building will be ready in mid-2025.
