GLP strengthens its position in Upper Silesia

GLP is preparing to implement its second investment in Lędziny, in the heart of Upper Silesia.  GLP Park Lędziny II, right next to the S1 expressway junction, will offer 40,000 sqm of leasable space. The building will be constructed in accordance with BREEAM certification requirements at the „Excellent” level.

GLP Park Lędziny II is located 10 minutes from the A4 motorway, on one of the main transport routes in southern Poland. The investment is planned with the needs of local freight forwarding, international logistics, and light manufacturing in mind. The new warehouse is located opposite two already existing ones, situated on the other side of the S1 route.

Like all new buildings of the company in Poland, GLP Park Lędziny II will also stand out with energy-saving solutions and those limiting the investment's impact on the local ecosystem.

The building's roof structure will be adapted for the installation of photovoltaic panels. The warehouse will also feature solutions promoting lower consumption of energy and other utilities: smart metering and energy-efficient LED lighting. A biodiverse, green environment is also part of the project.

„This is already the second GLP project in this location and the sixth in Upper Silesia. The new warehouse in Lędziny is our response to the unflagging interest of clients in the Silesian market and high-quality space developed in accordance with ESG criteria.” – says  Marcin Żuchniewicz, Business Development Manager GLP.

GLP Park Lędziny II already has a building permit. The construction of the facility will take approximately eight months from the start of construction.
