Bricoman continues its investments in renewable energy sources. Warehouses in Warsaw's Wilanów, Jaworzno, Lublin, and Szczecin are powered by green energy. Thanks to the new installations, the Bricoman chain has gained an approximate capacity of 350kW, consisting of 910 photovoltaic panel modules.
New photovoltaic installations allow our warehouses to cover their lighting needs, and on non-trading days, all surplus produced is sold to the grid. The photovoltaic panels that we install at our facilities are also products that are part of Bricoman's regular offer. They are enjoying increasing interest among both corporate and individual customers - Arnaud Boule, CEO of Bricoman Polska.
The first pilot photovoltaic installation was launched by Bricoman back in 2021 in Gdańsk. It enabled the acquisition of data on the benefits and costs associated with using photovoltaics.
Analysis of the data obtained from the pilot installation in Gdańsk confirmed our decision that it is worth expanding the use of such solutions to our entire chain of warehouses, which we are currently implementing - Arnaud Boule, CEO of Bricoman Polska
Bricoman's plans include further initiatives aimed at utilizing renewable energy sources. Bricoman is a chain of warehouses offering building and renovation materials for professionals and individual customers
