Groundbreaking investment in Nowa Huta. A gigantic logistics center is set to rise.

7R is launching the development of a technical and production hub in Nowa Huta.
The first stage will include land remediation.
Construction will begin later this year.

The 7R hub is part of the "Ruszcza" Logistics and Industrial Center, which is included in the "Nowa Huta of the Future" program. It will consist of three buildings and offer tenants a total of 230,000 sqm of high-tech production space built to the highest standards of the low-emission 7R Green Saver warehouse line.

The investment is targeted at clients interested in launching advanced production operations. The hub will also include space for smaller companies, particularly local businesses. Ultimately, it will become a kind of cluster enabling the development of various industries simultaneously – explains Michał Białas, Co-CEO of 7R.

"The implementation of this project aligns with Kraków’s strategy to develop innovative sectors of the economy and attract new investments.
The economy is evolving and becoming more specialized, giving us a huge opportunity to attract investors from around the world.
Investors who won’t see us as cheap subcontractors but as a place to invest and develop new, advanced projects.
However, they must have the right space to do so — also in Kraków," says Tomasz Lubowiecki, Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board at 7R.

This investment also fulfills the city’s long-standing vision to find new functions for Nowa Huta, which for decades was associated mainly with heavy industry.

Over 2,000 trees to be planted, rain gardens, and 10 hectares of afforestation

The project involves revitalizing the area and planting more than 2,000 new trees, including biocenotic species that support the development of natural habitats. Natural land depressions will be used to create rain gardens, which will help store and filter water, positively impacting soil quality and surrounding vegetation.

"We want to bring this area back to life while responsibly restoring the greenery.
We plan to afforest around 10 hectares of land, create rain gardens, and take proper care of this site," confirms Tomasz Lubowiecki, Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board at 7R.

The developer has begun with the remediation of contaminated soil, using its experience from previous projects in the Silesia region. The land has been thoroughly examined and all necessary permits have been obtained. Construction will begin later this year.
