Groundbreaking investment in Nowa Huta. A gigantic logistics center will be built

In the heart of the industrial area of Nowa Huta, a modern Logistics and Industrial Center „Ruszcza” will be built. The investor is the development company 7R, which will implement one of the largest production and warehouse projects in Poland.

7R is starting the implementation of a technical and production hub in Nowa Huta.
In the first stage, soil remediation is planned.
Construction will start later this year.

7R Hub is being built in the area of the Logistics and Industrial Center „Ruszcza”, which is part of the „Future Nowa Huta”. It will consist of three buildings and will offer tenants a total of 230,000 sqm of technological and production space with the highest standard of the low-emission 7R Green Saver warehouse line.

The investment is planned for clients interested in implementing highly advanced production. The hub also provides space for smaller companies, primarily for local entrepreneurs. Ultimately, a kind of cluster will be created, offering opportunities for the development of various industries simultaneously - explains Michał Białas, Co-CEO 7R.

- The implementation of the investment is in line with the strategy of Kraków, which assumes the development of innovative branches of the economy and attracting new investments.
The economy is changing and specializing, so we are facing a huge opportunity to attract investors from all over the world. Investors for whom we will not be a cheap subcontracting force, but who will invest here and develop new, advanced projects. However, they must have space for this, including in Kraków - says Tomasz Lubowiecki, Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board 7R.

The investment is also the realization of the city's announcement about looking for new functions for Nowa Huta, which for decades was associated mainly with heavy industry.
Planting over 2000 trees, rain gardens, afforestation of 10 ha

The project involves the revitalization of the area and the planting of over 2000 new trees, including biocenotic species that favor the development of habitats. Natural terrain depressions will be used to create rain gardens that will help store and filter water, which will have a positive impact on soil quality and the surrounding vegetation.

We want to bring this area back to life, also taking care of the reclamation of greenery. The plans include afforestation of about 10 hectares of land, creating rain gardens and taking care of this area in a truly responsible way - confirms Tomasz Lubowiecki, Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board 7R

The developer started work with the remediation of contaminated soil, using their experience gained in earlier projects in the Silesia region. The area has been thoroughly examined, and all necessary permits have been obtained. Construction will start later this year.
