Grupa Muszkieterów joins forces with Panattoni again

Grupa Muszkieterów has signed a lease agreement for nearly 13,000 square meters of warehouse space at Panattoni Park Sosnowiec I.

The continuation of cooperation with Panattoni is another element of the implementation of the New Logistics Strategy adopted by Grupa Muszkieterów in 2020, aimed at supporting the further development of the Bricomarché chain and the e-commerce channel.

Thanks to the investment, several dozen new jobs will be created, and local companies supporting logistics services will gain a chance for further development.

The transaction, initiated due to an increase in the volume of goods sent to locations in the south of the country, will support the optimization of the supply chain of Grupa Muszkieterów. Additionally, the new warehouse, located near a network of modern roads and highways, will contribute to a significant reduction in logistics costs by shortening the distance to the served stores, as well as to improving the quality of the overall service related to delivery fulfillment. In the long term, for Grupa Muszkieterów, the possibility of further expansion of the facility in order to constantly increase warehouse resources, enabling a significant reduction in the carbon footprint and transport-related costs, is crucial.

Increasing our logistics resources and presence in the most attractive warehouse locations is of strategic importance in the context of the development of Grupa Muszkieterów. We consistently strive to guarantee efficient service for the dynamically growing chain of Bricomarché supermarkets, so that our stores receive a wide selection of goods in the shortest possible time. Through cooperation with Panattoni, we have gained access to modern warehouse and office space in a well-connected location in southern Poland, which will certainly translate into an increase in the quality of logistics service and the ultimate satisfaction of our customers – says Jacek Berger, President of Logistics at Grupa Muszkieterów in Poland.

The new logistics warehouse will help better respond to the needs of hundreds of independent Polish entrepreneurs associated in Grupa Muszkieterów. The events of recent months have shown us how important long-term planning and securing supply continuity are. By investing in another warehouse, we want not only to react to current demand but also to secure our logistics network for the future – adds Jacek Berger.
