Hager Group is building a new factory in Bieruń

In August of this year, Hager began construction of a new production plant in Bieruń, Silesia.

In connection with the development of the Hager Group on the Polish market, the company decided to build a modern factory in Bieruń, which will allow it to increase production capacity and expand its product portfolio. The new production plant will be delivered by Panattoni – a leader in the industrial real estate market in Europe. The total area will exceed 21,000 sq m – of which 16,000 sq m will be allocated for warehouse and production purposes.

After comprehensive preparations, in August of this year we began the process of building a new production plant in Silesia. The creation of the factory in Bieruń is an extremely important point in the development of the Hager Group's operations in Poland. Thanks to this investment, we will expand our offer and increase our market competitiveness. The new factory will also strengthen our relations with the region in which we operate – said Daniel Hager, CEO of the Hager Group.

The facility is being built in the BTO formula and will be commissioned in mid-2023. The plant building in Bieruń will be one of the most modern in the Hager Group – it will meet the guidelines imposed by BREEAM certification at the Excellent level. Photovoltaic panels will be installed in the new factory, thanks to which green energy will also be used in the production process.

This is not the first project by Panattoni for the Hager Group – the companies have been cooperating for 7 years. In 2015, the developer built a Hager production plant in Sosnowiec, where 4 years later the company expanded by over 100 percent.

Many years of cooperation and efficient implementation of smaller areas convinced Hager that Panattoni would be the ideal partner in the implementation of a production plant that is key to development in Poland. The plant in Bieruń will be another factory tailored to the client by Panattoni, which in the era of nearshoring is an important signal for other companies considering investments in Poland. A partner with the appropriate know-how and portfolio is waiting for them here – says Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni.

The new production plant will be located just 10 kilometers from the Hager factory in Tychy.
