Construction work has been completed on the first building of the Hillwood Targówek logistics park on ul. Bardowskiego in Warsaw. The investment is being carried out according to schedule, and construction has just reached its halfway point. The hall, with an area of nearly 25,000 sqm, will be commissioned in the third quarter of this year.
As part of the Hillwood Targówek project, two class A warehouse halls will be built, each with an area of 24,609 sqm. The new logistics park is located in the Targówek district of Warsaw on ul. Bardowskiego, not far from ul. Radzymińska. Thanks to this location, the complex is well connected to the S8 expressway and roads leading out of Warsaw, including the A2 motorway. The logistics park is located just 8 km from the city center and 15 km from the Chopin Airport.
Energy-efficient LED lighting will be installed in the warehouse under construction. The building will also have the highest standard of fire resistance – over 4000 MJ/sqm and will be monitored 24 hours a day. Upon customer request, there is also the possibility of renting office space adapted to individual requirements. The investment site will feature a large and convenient parking lot.
"Our investment in Targówek is enjoying great interest, especially among suppliers and companies from the e-commerce sector, who compete with each other by shortening delivery times to target recipients" – says Katarzyna Żbikowska, Business Development Director Hillwood Polska – "One of the greatest advantages of Hillwood Targówek is the location that allows access to the warehouse park by public transport. Thanks to this, companies can use our logistics center not only as a last-mile warehouse, but also as a company headquarters, service point, or showroom."
