A Polish logistics and transport company has ordered approximately 2,000 sqm of additional space at MLP Poznań West. Following its handover, planned for June next year, Hart Logistics will use a total of nearly 12,000 sqm.
Hart Logistics, just over a year after concluding its first transaction with MLP Group, has decided to order an additional nearly 2,000 sqm at the MLP Poznań West logistics center. The handover of the additional space to the tenant is planned for June 2023.
The tenant currently uses nearly 10,000 sqm at MLP Poznań West, of which the vast majority is intended for warehouse purposes. The modern office occupies just over 100 sqm.
Hart Logistics specializes in providing freight forwarding services within road transport as well as logistics in the scope of warehouse operations and e-commerce services. It works equally effectively for small, medium, and large enterprises. It handles a wide range of orders in international and domestic relations.
- We are very pleased to expand our cooperation with Hart Logistics. MLP Poznań West is one of the most popular logistics centers within our portfolio. We provide tenants with a high standard of facilities while implementing solutions that contribute to environmental protection. All newly constructed buildings are covered by the BREEAM certification system. A major advantage for tenants is also the location in the immediate vicinity of the Poznań agglomeration – said Tomasz Pietrzak, Leasing Director Poland at MLP Group S.A.
Modern eco-solutions are used in the construction of the MLP Poznań West park. These include, among others, the installation of photovoltaic systems on the roofs of buildings, as well as heat pumps for heating both warehouse halls and office buildings. The management of the logistics center and monitoring of facility systems are being implemented based on an Asset Information Model. This technology is used to improve operational processes through integration with Building Management Systems (BMS). Its application is particularly important in facilities where production or operational processes take place continuously, e.g., in buildings with controlled temperature or production facilities. The center has also been equipped with an intelligent entry system based on reading vehicle license plates, which significantly facilitates and speeds up transport traffic on its premises.
The MLP Poznań West logistics center will ultimately provide over 141,000 sqm of state-of-the-art warehouse and office space on an area of 29 ha. The new halls will have an increased height of up to 11.5 m. MLP Poznań West is located on the western side of Poznań near the S11 expressway, just 7 km from the junction with the A2 motorway. The excellent location is attractive for various types of business.
The company W.P.I.P., an expert in building and equipping technologically advanced and sustainable industrial facilities that use solutions meeting high environmental standards, is responsible for the construction of warehouse facilities within MLP Poznań West.
