Hillwood has completed the construction of the first building at the Hillwood Rawicz logistics park. The company has leased 17,000 sqm to a leader in the fashion industry.
The class A warehouse center has received a BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level. The park offers nearly 147,000 sqm of modern warehouse space. Located in Korzeńsko in the Żmigród Municipality, on the border of the Greater Poland and Lower Silesian voivodeships, by the S5 expressway connecting Poznań and Wrocław, the logistics park provides excellent national and international connections.
The first stage of the investment, covering the construction of nearly 54,000 sqm of logistics and warehouse space in building A, was completed in February of this year. The efficient implementation of the project was possible thanks to close cooperation with the authorities of the Żmigród Municipality.
The first leased space at Hillwood Rawicz, exceeding 17,000 sqm, will be used for the logistics and warehousing of fashion products. The warehouse has been fully adapted to the client's needs, offering a clear height of 12 meters, fire resistance at the level of +4000 MJ/m², and a dust-free floor with a load-bearing capacity of 8 tons per square meter.
In an effort to minimize operating costs, photovoltaic panels with a capacity of 50 kWp have been installed, which brings significant savings in energy consumption in common areas. Additionally, the energy generated by the photovoltaic farm will be provided free of charge for the tenants' needs. In the warehouse in Korzeńsko and similar facilities in the Hillwood Polska portfolio, a modern linear LED lighting system has been used, ensuring not only improved comfort of building use but also significant energy savings.
