Hillwood is building a new warehouse park near Rawicz

Hillwood Polska has started construction of a modern logistics center in Korzeńsko, right next to the S5 expressway, connecting Wrocław with Poznań. The first stage of the investment, which will create 53,000 sqm of warehouse space, will be commissioned by the end of the second quarter of next year. Hillwood plans to build a total of 150,000 sqm of logistics space at this location. 
 
The new investment is being built in Lower Silesia, near the border with the Greater Poland Voivodeship, and its location guarantees excellent connections to the most important markets in the country and abroad.
 
The entire park will be built to Class A standards. The building will have a height of 12 m and a reinforced floor load capacity of up to 8 t/sqm, which will allow tenants to use the storage area more efficiently, as well as reduce rental and operating costs. The warehouse center will feature a large and convenient parking lot for tenants and their contractors. The general contractor for the investment is the company Rex-Bud Budownictwo.
Green solutions will be used in the Korzeńsko investment, including the construction of a photovoltaic farm, which will provide tenants with cheap and ecological electricity. The new warehouse park will be certified under the BREEAM system at the Excellent level.
 
"Korzeńsko is another large investment by Hillwood Polska in Lower Silesia, where Hillwood has been strengthening its position for years. The region enjoys great interest among tenants, especially logistics companies and the e-commerce sector. We are meeting their expectations and will fill the supply gap in this region. At the end of June, vacancies here were at a very low level of 3.8 percent," says Hubert Michalak, President of the Management Board of Hillwood Polska.
 
Hillwood will also ensure safe and efficient access to the investment by building a municipal road – from the logistics center to the Korzeńsko junction on the S5 road. Sidewalks will be built along the road and modern lighting will be installed. The new road will serve not only our tenants, but also the local community. The total cost of the road investment will exceed 1 million euros.
