Hillwood is building two new warehouses in Upper Silesia

Hillwood is building two new warehouses in Gliwice and Mysłowice.  A total of 52,000 sqm of warehouse space will be delivered in the third quarter of this year.

The warehouse in Gliwice will have nearly 28,000 sqm. The hall will be built on Pszczyńska Street, just 2 km from the city center at the intersection of the A4 and A1 motorways (Gliwice Sośnica junction). Thanks to this location, companies will be able to serve customers more efficiently both on the local and national market. The location near the city is also an important convenience for future employees of the warehouse center. The company plans to build another, nearly twice as large hall as part of this logistics center.

Construction of the Hillwood Mysłowice park has also begun. A modern warehouse park is being built on industrial land between Mikołowska Street and Obrzeżna Zachodnia, just a few kilometers from the intersection of the A4 motorway and the S1 expressway. The proximity of transit routes will ensure efficient communication with the south and center of Poland, as well as with the markets of our western neighbors. Currently, the first hall with an area of nearly 24,000 sqm is being erected.

Both properties offer the possibility of separating smaller areas. Warehouse modules will be available from 3,000 sqm in the hall in Gliwice and from 2,600 sqm in Mysłowice.

"Hillwood has been active in the Silesian Voivodeship for 5 years now, i.e. from the beginning of our operations in Poland. Further development of our business in this very region is therefore a natural step for us. By the end of 2020, the modern warehouse space built by us in Upper Silesia and the Zagłębie region will increase to nearly 170,000 sqm."  – says Hubert Michalak, President of the Management Board of Hillwood Polska.

Hillwood has already built two other warehouse centers in the region – Hillwood Sosnowiec Zagłębie and Hillwood Ruda Śląska. Their expansion will be completed this year.
