Hillwood Polska with new capital

Hillwood, a leading developer of production and warehouse space, has signed a credit agreement with Bank Millennium for the amount of 26.3 million euros for the construction of the first stage of a logistics park in Zgierz.

Hillwood Zgierz park is located in Central Poland, 2.5 km from the entrance to the A2 motorway and 15.5 km from the A1 motorway junction.
The class A warehouse building with an area of over 58,000 sqm will have a storage height of 12 meters, fire resistance of +4000 MJ/sqm and floor load capacity increased to 8 t/sqm. Additionally, the developer, caring for sustainable development, has applied a number of green solutions, including a photovoltaic farm, and the facility itself will be BREEAM certified at the Excellent level.

Cooperation with a partner such as Bank Millennium is a great support in conducting investments. We appreciate above all the professional service at every stage – the efficient course of negotiations on financing parameters, quick credit decision-making and the effective process of negotiating credit documentation – says Hubert Michalak, President of the Management Board of Hillwood Polska.

We are pleased that for the tenth time we can be a partner in the implementation of a Hillwood project in Poland. The facility we are financing will be modern and environmentally friendly, which means it will fit perfectly into Bank Millennium's strategy of supporting projects based on sustainable development – says Renata Grzywacz, Director of the Structured Finance Department at Bank Millennium.

In the process of financing the Hillwood Zgierz investment, Bank Millennium was supported by the law firm CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang. Support for the developer Hillwood Polska was provided by the law firm Clifford Chance.
