IGLOTEX Group with a new factory in Skórcz

IGLOTEX S.A. Group, a leading producer and distributor of frozen food in Poland, has launched the most modern production plant and distribution branch in this part of Europe in Skórcz within just nine months of obtaining the building permit, employing a total of nearly 700 employees. The total value of the investment amounted to 190 million PLN.

The investment was created in Skórcz, at Leśna 2 street – in the location where one of the main production plants and distribution branches of the IGLOTEX Group burned down completely in May of last year. The company's management board immediately made a strategic decision to build a new, super-modern production plant, which, due to its technological advancement, will provide the company with a number of competitive advantages and enable the implementation of an ambitious development strategy, both in Poland and – through exports – in over 50 markets around the world, on four continents.

The new production plant is an integrated complex of production and cold storage halls, along with social and office facilities and accompanying technical infrastructure and a distribution branch. The total area of the complex is 24.4 thousand sqm, including a production plant with an area of 13.6 thousand sqm, warehouses with an area of 9 thousand sqm, an administrative and office building with an area of 1.8 thousand sqm, and a distribution branch with a fleet of over 70 vehicles.
