Industrial Park Poland by Hillwood with a new road layout

Hillwood Polska is completing the expansion and modernization of access roads in the Stare Miasto municipality near Konin, which will connect the largest planned industrial and logistics park in Poland – Industrial Park Poland by Hillwood – with an area of over 600,000 sqm to the A2 motorway.

The works, which began in the middle of last year, included the expansion of the municipal road – Kasztelańska Street – over a section of approximately 500 meters, the construction of a new section of municipal road approximately 950 meters long, and the reconstruction of national road No. 72 over a section of approximately 800 meters, including two roundabouts. The value of the investment, fully financed by Hillwood Polska, is over 20 million PLN. The final acceptance of the project will take place at the end of August 2024.

The investment will ensure an efficient connection to the A2 motorway not only for future tenants of Industrial Park Poland by Hillwood, but also for local residents. In agreement with the Stare Miasto municipality and GDDiKA, solutions have been developed to increase road capacity while maintaining traffic flow and improving safety.

It is worth emphasizing that as part of this investment, new bus stops with bays, pedestrian paths, and bicycle paths will be built. Safe exits to adjacent properties will also be created. All road sections will be equipped with street lighting, including lighting for pedestrian crossings. Industrial Park Poland is a project by Hillwood Polska located in the Stare Miasto municipality near Konin, at the junction of the A2 motorway and national road No. 72. It is being built on a 137-hectare plot, where a modern logistics and production center with an area of over 600,000 sqm will ultimately be built.
