InPost enters a park in Chorzów
InPost, the owner of the Paczkomat network, will launch a new logistics center with an area of 6,000 sqm in the Prologis Park Chorzów facility.
InPost is the largest logistics operator in Poland, in which American investment funds Advent International and KKR have invested. The company offers courier services and deliveries via the nationwide InPost Paczkomat network for individual and institutional clients, including comprehensive services dedicated to the e-commerce industry. The number of InPost Paczkomats exceeded 10,770 units at the end of 2020. In January 2021, InPost debuted on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange.
Prologis Park Chorzów is a modern distribution center which, within five buildings, offers over 250,000 sqm of modern warehouse space. The facility is located in Upper Silesia, about 7 km west of the center of Katowice, in the vicinity of the "Chorzów Batory" junction of the A4 motorway and is very well connected to the A1 motorway and the international Katowice Airport in Pyrzowice, it was also stated.
