LCP Properties, one of the leading investors and developers on the Polish retail park market, also expanding its operations in the small business unit (SBU) sector under the Multipark brand, has leased four modules in its Multipark Bydgoszcz and Multipark Zabrze projects totaling 1,400 sqm. The company also has ambitious plans for the further development of this part of its business, confirmed by the building permit granted for Multipark Sosnowiec. This project, with a total of nearly 8,300 sqm of GLA, will be opened in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Among the new SBU Multipark tenants in Bydgoszcz is a manufacturer of specialized products supporting animal health and development, which has leased space in this project equivalent to two modules, i.e., 600 sqm. Furthermore, MSU Rental, which has recently been present in this property and deals with comprehensive service for companies in the field of rental and maintenance of work and protective clothing, has decided to expand, thereby increasing its space to a total of 600 sqm.
A new tenant in SBU Multipark in Zabrze, which signed a contract for one module, i.e., 500 sqm (300 sqm of warehouse space and 200 sqm of office space), is Polifarb Gliwice, a nationwide distributor of paints and varnishes for home and industry.
The company's next investment – Multipark Sosnowiec will be built in the north-eastern part of the city, on Modrzewiowa Street. On a plot of nearly 25,000 sqm, two buildings will be constructed with a total of nearly 8,300 sqm of leasable area, of which 7,200 sqm is warehouse space and approximately 1,100 sqm is office space. The opening of the new SBU under the Multipark brand is planned for the fourth quarter of 2024.
"We are finalizing commercialization in existing projects and starting new ones – thus, it can be boldly said that we are implementing an ideal scenario, and consequently, we are maintaining a good pace of proceedings regarding the further development of our SBU segment and the Multipark brand," commented Magdalena Kowalewska, COO, LCP Properties in Poland.
"Today we are officially announcing the project in Sosnowiec, and soon we will reveal more details about our next investments. We have conducted market analyses and are already noting interest in both Sosnowiec and locations for which we expect building permits soon, which gives us even more wind in our sails and energy to act," she added.
