The new investment will support the development of Royal Canin across Europe, as well as in Japan. Logistics services in the new facility will be provided by FM Logistic.
The new property is adjacent to the existing Royal Canin factory in the Niepołomice Investment Zone, which serves 24 markets. The facility meets stringent environmental impact requirements. The property has been equipped with photovoltaic panels, high-class LED lighting, electric vehicle charging stations, utility submetering, and a water recycling system.
The newly commissioned facility includes 25,900 m2 of flexible warehouse space, 380 m2 of high-class offices, and 460 m2 of archive space connected by a direct road to the Royal Canin factory in Niepołomice. The project was developed by the Kwadrat architectural studio, and the general contractor was Atlas Ward Polska. Construction management was carried out by Arcadis and Logicor.
"The new facility is part of our plan to care for customer experience and sustainable development, enabling us to deliver high-quality food to more cats and dogs, more efficiently and with a reduced carbon footprint. The location in Niepołomice allows us to fully utilize the potential of new opportunities in a dynamically developing industry." – emphasizes Agnieszka Sadowska, CNE Supply Chain Director at Royal Canin Dystrybucja.
"The property will be used for both production needs and global market distribution. The cooperation with Royal Canin is an example of our long-term partnership strategy, which results in providing flexible and highly certified business space for our clients." – points out Michał Ptaszyński, Country Manager Poland at Logicor.
Logistics in the new facility will be handled by FM Logistic.
"Royal Canin is another brand from the pet food and accessories industry that we have in our client portfolio.
