LPP e-commerce warehouse growing in the Podkarpacie region

Construction work on the Fulfillment Center designed to handle online orders for the Polish clothing manufacturer, which began in January of this year, has reached the halfway point. During this time, all earthworks were completed and foundations were poured, on which 400 concrete columns were mounted, forming the base for the facility's steel roof structure, which has just been completed.

- The warehouse being built in Jasionka is a key project for LPP in terms of improving our distribution. That is why I am pleased that just a few months after breaking ground, we can symbolically close the first stage of construction together with our partners and in the presence of regional authorities. The topping-out ceremony held today confirms that the project is being implemented according to schedule, and in just a few months, thanks to the determination of all companies involved in the investment, the new facility will be integrated into the global LPP logistics network – comments Jacek Kujawa, Vice President of LPP.

Subsequent stages of the investment, including the closing of the building with roof sheeting and facade scheduled for the end of June, will allow the developer, Panattoni, to begin internal work soon. The assembly of the office section is also gaining momentum. Finishing works and landscaping around the warehouse are to be completed as early as August. The planned handover of the hall building by the developer at that time will allow LPP to accept the first deliveries of technological equipment and begin equipping the facility with warehouse systems, as well as preparing for the launch of the warehouse in the fourth quarter of this year.

- The space being created as part of Panattoni Park Rzeszów North is our next project for LPP for e-commerce – this year alone, we will deliver as much as 133,000 sqm to the company. The growth of online sales favors the increase of warehouse resources, and as our investments show - we are ready for this, offering clients customized space for selected processes in the best locations. We ensure that they are located close to sales markets and employees and have access to appropriate road infrastructure. Our Podkarpacie investment, which is growing before our eyes, meets all these criteria – said Martyna Sochaczewska, Leasing Director at Panattoni.

During the topping-out ceremony at the construction site of the new warehouse, the head of the Trzebownisko Municipality, Lesław Kuźniar, and LPP Vice President Jacek Kujawa also signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation on the implementation of social projects in the Municipality.

- The long-term perspective of LPP's development in the region assumes not only the implementation of our business plans but also involvement in the life of the local community and projects that respond to its real needs. Therefore, I hope that the action plan developed together with the Municipality authorities will bring many real benefits to everyone – comments the Vice President of LPP.

The first projects implemented by the company in cooperation with the Municipality will be aimed at the youngest residents. One of them will be support for a scholarship program for primary school students. In response to the needs of local educational institutions, the company also declared the implementation of the School Common Room Support Program, which involves assistance in supplementing educational infrastructure and organizing additional extracurricular activities. As part of the pilot, the project will cover the Primary School in Jasionka. In subsequent years, other facilities in the Municipality will also be included in the project. An important element of the actions taken by LPP will also be a project under the slogan „Starter kit for a first-grader”, i.e., gift packages prepared by the company for all students starting their education in primary schools in the new school year.

- I am glad that LPP chose our Municipality as the location for its new investment. I hope that the launch of the new warehouse will not only have a positive impact on the local labor market but will also become an impulse for the further development of the entire region. Moreover, the letter of intent on cooperation signed today is a clear signal for us that LPP wants to be an investor that will be involved not only in the development of its business but will become an important participant in the social life of our municipality, for the benefit of its residents – says Sławomir Porada, Deputy Head of the Trzebownisko Municipality.

Parallel to the construction work, the company has started recruitment activities. As part of the first phase, it is planned to hire employees for positions including foremen, warehouse system operators, and electromechanics. LPP is also conducting recruitment for analysts and specialists in quality control, logistics, documentation, and safety.
