Markat Plus has a new distribution center

Markat Plus, a distributor of boards and wood-based materials, has decided to lease over 7,300 sqm of warehouse and office space at Panattoni Park Kraków III.

Markat Plus has been selling building materials since 2006, specializing in all types of construction and structural boards. The company also offers furniture boards, including wood and wood-based boards. For several years, Markat Plus has been an authorized representative of the SWISS KRONO and PAGED Sklejka brands in Poland.

- We were looking for a warehouse located south of Kraków, at a relatively short distance from our headquarters in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. We believe that a location near the A4 motorway and in the immediate vicinity of a large metropolitan area will significantly increase our distribution capabilities. We decided to lease warehouse space at the Panattoni Park Kraków III distribution center because we believe that in the current market situation, i.e., with rising inflation, which has a direct impact on the increase in material and construction costs, a long-term lease will be a safer option - comments Michał Banasik, co-owner of Markat Plus.

Markat Plus will occupy 6,960 sqm of logistics and distribution space, which will be complemented by 370 sqm of modern office and showroom space.

- The Kraków warehouse market is one of the very demanding ones, where details often determine the success of a transaction. A great advantage of our warehouse park is its convenient location in terms of the A4 motorway entrance, which is less than 3 km away, as well as the high technical standard of the property itself - argues Filip Noworól, Senior Leasing Manager, Panattoni.

Panattoni Park Kraków III is a modern warehouse park with an area of 34,500 sqm located approx. 10 km southwest of the center of Kraków, near (approx. 3 km) the transport hub connecting the A4 motorway with the European E40 route and national road No. 44. The basic equipment of the distribution center includes maneuvering yards with a minimum depth of 35 m, wide parking spaces for trucks and passenger cars, 24-hour security, and CCTV.
