MITGAR Port Operation is increasing the scale of its operations in Pomerania. The operator has leased over 7.5 thousand sqm of modern space in CTPark Gdańsk Port, where it will develop operations related to, among others, the automotive sector, transshipment, and e-commerce logistics.
New warehouse near Baltic Hub
CTPark Gdańsk Port is being developed as a direct back-up facility for the Port of Gdańsk and the Baltic Hub terminal. The location provides access to one of the most important transshipment points on the Baltic Sea and international transport routes.
MITGAR Port Operation will use the new space primarily for:
- handling automotive cargo,
- storage and cross-docking,
- transshipment of FCL, LCL, and LTL cargo,
- carrying out fulfillment operations,
- handling dropshipping.
The company is scheduled to start operations in the new hall in the third quarter of 2026.
The operator increases the scale of its operations in Pomerania
MITGAR Port Operation has been operating on the Polish market since 2022 and currently manages infrastructure with a total area of nearly 40 ha.
The company's facilities include, among others, paved storage yards in the Port of Gdańsk and other logistics hubs, facilities with access to quays and railway sidings, and a terminal operating within the Free Customs Zone.
The new warehouse is expected to increase the operator's capabilities in comprehensive cargo handling and enable taking over larger and more complex logistics projects.
Automotive as one of the main directions of development
Handling the automotive sector remains one of the key areas of MITGAR Port Operation's activity.
The company conducts processes covering the entire supply chain – from unloading cars from ships or containers, through storage, customs clearance, and inspection, to the preparation of vehicles and their further distribution.
The new facility in CTPark Gdańsk Port is expected to further increase capabilities in this segment.
Logistics and e-commerce in one model
An important element of operations in the new location will be cooperation with E-packsend, which specializes in organizing sea, road, air, and rail transport, as well as e-commerce services.
Combining the competencies of both companies is expected to enable the implementation of integrated processes including:
- transport and customs clearance,
- warehousing,
- inventory management,
- order picking,
- delivery to the final recipient.
In the future, MITGAR Port Operation also does not rule out launching production lines related to the artificial intelligence sector in the facility.
CTPark Gdańsk Port will continue to grow
Within the complex, two CTSpace buildings have been delivered so far – GPOR1 and GPOR2. Both have obtained the BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level.
In subsequent stages, the park is to be expanded with both large big box facilities and smaller CTBox and CTFlex modules designed for enterprises needing more compact spaces.
Gdańsk attracts more tenants
CTPark Gdańsk Port is already being used by companies representing various sectors of the economy, including logistics, energy, and industry.
The new agreement with MITGAR Port Operation confirms the growing importance of warehouses located in the immediate vicinity of port infrastructure. For companies handling international trade, the ability to combine sea transport with warehousing, transshipment, and distribution in one location is becoming an increasingly important operational advantage.
