MLP Group begins construction of MLP Business Park Schalke

MLP Group has commenced construction work at MLP Business Park Schalke. This sustainable business park with a leasable area exceeding 72,000 sqm is being built on the site of the former Thyssen factory and has been designed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises. The general contractor for the investment is the company Bremer.

MLP Group has officially begun construction of MLP Business Park Schalke in Gelsenkirchen, in North Rhine-Westphalia. The modern business park is being built in the Schalke-Nord district on the site of the former Thyssen factory, which has remained largely undeveloped in recent years. In cooperation with the City of Gelsenkirchen, modern spaces are being created, tailored primarily to the needs of small and medium-sized companies.

The new investment will make a significant contribution to the urban development of the region, supporting the goals of the Integrated Development Concept for Schalke-Nord and contributing to the revitalization of the district. On an area of approximately 12 hectares, more than 72,000 sqm of flexible leasable space will be created, meeting the high sustainability standards of MLP Group. The buildings will be constructed using resource-saving solutions and will be equipped with modern offices, social spaces, and attractive green areas that will provide comfortable working conditions and relaxation zones conducive to integration.

Completion of the construction of the first warehouse with an area of approximately 30,000 sqm is planned for the fourth quarter of 2025.
