MLP increases commercialization level
In the first half of 2019, MLP Group signed 22 lease agreements, commercializing a total of approximately 217,000 m2 of warehouse and office space in Poland, Germany, and Romania. Of this, nearly 122,000 m2 of space was leased by clients as part of newly implemented investments. Transactions totaling approximately 95,000 m2 concerned increasing the size of leased space by existing clients or lease extensions, as well as the leasing of existing space by new clients.
The space commercialized in the first half of this year was more than twice as large as in the corresponding period of the previous year, when slightly over 100,000 sqm was leased.
„The past half-year was very successful for us. The German market played a significant role in the commercialization process. This confirms the effective implementation of our strategy focused on expansion in that country and further dynamic development in Poland. Doubling the size of leased space compared to last year, which was also very successful for us, simultaneously means continuing a multi-year trend of scaling up operations. It is worth emphasizing that more than half of the space contracted this year covers newly built facilities” - emphasized Agnieszka Góźdź, Sales Director at MLP Group S.A.
