MLP Poznań West to grow to 150,000 sqm.

MLP Group has expanded its land bank by an additional 10 hectares, on which the Poznań project MLP Poznań West is being developed. The target area of the entire park has thus increased to approximately 150,000 sqm. As a result, it will be one of the largest logistics complexes in the region.

- Due to the huge popularity of our Poznań project among investors from Poland and abroad, we decided to purchase adjacent plots in order to increase the potential of the MLP Poznań West park. A great location along with well-prepared infrastructure and the availability of qualified staff are the decisive factors influencing the development and attractiveness of this region. Currently, the Poznań market is considered one of the most attractive investment regions, which is why we are not afraid of building on a speculative basis here, and I am convinced that with such interest in leasing warehouse space in this location, we will quickly commercialize the Poznań project. Undoubtedly, its advantage is the eco-solutions that we implement as standard in all our investments; we care not only about the natural environment but also about the comfort of users – emphasized Agnieszka Góźdź, Sales Director at MLP Group S.A.

The expanded MLP Poznań West logistics park will occupy a total of approximately 29 hectares and will ultimately offer approximately 150,000 sqm of state-of-the-art warehouse and office space. More than 29,000 sqm have already been put into use. Currently, further facilities with a total area of 43,000 sqm are under construction, and approximately 78,000 sqm remain to be built. The project is being implemented in the best logistics location in the vicinity of Poznań.

All facilities are covered by BREEAM certification. Care for ecology is already the basis of the Company's operations. The park design includes many modern solutions, including photovoltaic panels on the roofs of buildings, infrastructure for cyclists, electric car charging stations, and insect hotels. In the office section, the developer will use glazing that will increase access to daylight and provide employees with better working conditions. Furthermore, a digital operational model enriched with physical features, technical parameters, information regarding equipment, and installed devices will be created based on the actual facility. The Asset Information Model (AIM) will be used for the administration and controlling of facility systems. The developer strives to ensure that the technological innovations it uses are an economic advantage when choosing a facility.

The modern distribution center MLP Poznań West is a complex located on the western side of Poznań, next to the S11 expressway and just 7 km from the junction of the A2 motorway and the S11 route. The complex is located in very close proximity to the Poznań-Ławica Airport. The project is being created in accordance with trends in the warehouse real estate market. The center is aimed primarily at companies from the e-commerce, logistics, distribution, and light production sectors. MLP Poznań West will ultimately provide approx. 150,000 m2 of state-of-the-art warehouse and office space.
