At the beginning of June, on the anniversary of the cooperation between the Polish branch of DHL Supply Chain and the Henkel corporation, a new warehouse center was launched in Racibórz. The modern and ecological facility with an area of 9,000 sq m is part of an existing complex where the global logistics operator conducts operations for the household chemicals manufacturer. The developer of the facility is Logicor.
The newly opened warehouse center was built next to the existing hall, which occupies an area of 22,000 sqm. The modern warehouse, in which DHL Supply Chain will conduct further operations for the household chemicals giant, was designed and built in accordance with ESG standards. The facility in Racibórz is ecological, saves energy, ensures rational resource management, and allows for comfortable and safe work. All these elements are a common denominator for the activities of DHL Supply Chain, Henkel, and Logicor. The opening of the new warehouse also coincided with the extension of the lease agreement by the logistics operator for the space occupied so far.
"Together with Henkel, Logicor, and local authorities, we are creating an exceptionally well-coordinated quartet in Racibórz. Top-class professionalism in action, understanding of mutual businesses, and a similar value scheme allow us to co-create a place that writes the economic history of the region. I am convinced that the full potential for development will be utilized in the new location. That it will be a place where work will be done more efficiently and more ecologically, simply better. Especially since functionality and quality perfectly harmonize here with solutions that are intended to realize ESG and sustainable development goals." – says Monika Duda-Tulejko, Managing Director, DHL Supply Chain.
