Panattoni will build a warehouse and production center for the company OneDayMore in Poznań. The producer of food products such as muesli, porridge, granola, and snacks will occupy over 8,600 sq m as part of the new city park in Poznań. Here, it will begin production of a new product line – plant-based meat substitutes. The facility will be delivered in the third quarter of 2021, and ultimately City Logistics Poznań East will consist of two halls with a total area of 32,200 sq m.
City Logistics Poznań East is the first city park built by Panattoni in the capital of Greater Poland. It is being developed in the north-eastern part of Poznań, right next to route 92 (Warsaw-Świecko). It is only 8 km from the city center. This location has already been appreciated by the first tenant, OneDayMore – a producer of healthy food such as breakfast cereals and snacks. The company has leased 8,600 sq m in the first of the buildings. It will include a warehouse zone (4,300 sq m), a production zone (3,400 sq m), and an office zone (875 sq m). The facility will be adapted for food production and storage. Among other things, temperature-controlled areas will be created, and the solutions used will meet high HACCP requirements.
„After Warsaw, Łódź, Wrocław, and Kraków, it is time for Poznań. This is our first city park in the capital of Greater Poland. A rich market and a population exceeding 530,000 must arouse the interest of companies that, in times of rapid e-commerce development, want to shorten the distance to the end recipient of goods as much as possible. But not only that. Through its road infrastructure, Poznań also ensures good connections with the rest of Poland and is attractive for companies trading with Western European countries, especially Germany" – says
Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director, Panattoni.„The new production and warehouse facility in Poznań fits perfectly into our needs and development strategy. Production of plant-based meat substitutes will start here, which will be distributed not only in the country but also in Europe. This location will perfectly facilitate this and significantly shorten the order fulfillment time” - confirms
Dariusz Haraj, CEO OneDayMore. As part of City Logistics Poznań East, two halls with a total area of 32,200 sq m will be built. The first, built in the BTS formula, will be entirely occupied by the company OneDayMore. The second - with an area of 21,600 sq m – will be a modern class A building, allowing for flexible shaping of warehouse space. The smallest of the modules will have 1,100 sq m, which will meet the requirements of clients from various industries. Thanks to its strategic location, it is suitable both for companies from the e-commerce sector and those that care about operations carried out within the city zone, but also - due to the nearby road network – throughout the country and abroad, especially in Germany. Both halls will be certified in the BREEAM system at the „Very Good” level.
City Logistics Poznań East will be built in the north-eastern part of the capital of Greater Poland at ul. Janikowska, in the immediate vicinity of national road no. 92 connecting Warsaw with Świecko. It is 307 km from here to the country's capital, and 190 km to the German border. The park is only 15 km away from the „Krzesiny” junction of the A2 motorway. Nearby is also the S11 expressway, which in turn allows for efficient transport between Poznań and Bydgoszcz in the north and Katowice in the south. At a distance of 15 km, there is also the Ławica Airport, and the center of Poznań is 8 km away. The location of the park will also facilitate access for employees. At a distance of just a 4-minute walk, there is the „Prząśniczki” bus stop and bus lines towards the center („Śródka” loop).
