New Hillwood investment in Słubice

Construction of a new Hillwood Polska warehouse and production center has begun in Słubice. The hall with an area of approx. 21.5 thousand sqm will be commissioned in the third quarter of this year. The new hall will be fully adapted to the storage and production needs of both large and small companies. The minimum module area for lease is 2,200 sqm.

Hillwood Słubice is a class A warehouse building with an area of 21,467 sqm. The facility will be built directly next to national road no. 29, only 2 km from the „Świecko” junction on the A2 motorway. The center of Słubice is 4.5 km away from the investment site, while the Słubice – Frankfurt border crossing is 5 km away.

"Słubice benefit from their strategic location in Europe and transport accessibility. They are an important shipping and logistics hub. Business operations are also supported by the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone. The city also belongs to the Pro Europa Viadrina Euroregion, which sets the development of the Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice agglomeration as one of its main goals. In addition, the municipality wants to support competitive and innovative companies. To this end, among other things, it develops technical infrastructure and ensures a high technical standard of streets and roads. One of the strategic goals of the local government is also the development of human capital, which further increases the attractiveness of Słubice as a place to conduct business" – says Hubert Michalak, President of the Management Board of Hillwood Polska.

The center in Słubice will not be the first one built by Hillwood in the Lubusz region. In 2019, the company built a modern warehouse for the company Moto-Profil in Świebodzin. Previously, warehouse and production facilities built by Hillwood were also created in Krosno Odrzańskie and Świecko.
