Fresh Logistics Polska has opened a new warehouse in Łomża. The facility, with an area of over 6,500 sqm, will handle fresh and frozen products. This investment also translates into new job opportunities and increased activity for local transport companies.
The new logistics center of Fresh Logistics Polska, located on Ciepła Street in Łomża, became operational on June 9, 2025. This significant investment benefits not only the company but also the entire region, providing modern infrastructure and additional employment opportunities.
The newly opened warehouse spans an area of 6,603 sqm, of which 2,721 sqm is dedicated to a cross-docking zone maintained at a constant temperature of 2–6°C. The facility includes 20 loading docks, enabling efficient handling of large shipment volumes. It also features a special Ultra Fresh chamber (0–2°C) designed for products such as fresh fish and meat. Additionally, the warehouse offers three independent freezing chambers with a combined capacity of over 3,000 pallets, maintained at –23°C, as well as a separate contract logistics zone covering 2,044 sqm.
According to company information, the facility is equipped with environmentally friendly solutions. These include photovoltaic installations, heat pumps, and modern transportation equipment powered by lithium-ion batteries. The entire fleet meets EURO 6 emissions standards.
"In fresh product logistics, timing is crucial. It is essential to deliver services promptly while maintaining the highest quality and, above all, food safety," said Tomasz Polański, Regional Director at Fresh Logistics Polska.
The new warehouse not only enhances service quality but also positively impacts the local job market. The company has hired new employees for both warehouse operations and office positions. Expanding logistics operations is also beneficial for regional enterprises.
"Opening the new Fresh Logistics Polska warehouse has increased employment among both warehouse and office staff," emphasized Krzysztof Godlewski, Łomża Branch Manager. "Thus, we are supporting not only logistics but also the growth of local businesses."
Fresh Logistics is also expanding its logistics center in Robakowo near Poznań. The Łomża branch of Fresh Logistics has been operational since 2008. Over the past 17 years, its monthly pallet handling volume has increased from 20,000 to 190,000. With the new center, these figures are expected to grow further, improving delivery flexibility, including to Baltic countries, which represent an important direction of expansion.
