New logistics center in Łomża. Fresh Logistics expands its network and increases employment

Fresh Logistics Polska has launched a new warehouse in Łomża. The facility, with an area of over 6,500 sqm, is designed to handle fresh and frozen products. The investment also translates into new jobs and increased activity for local transport companies.

The new Fresh Logistics Polska logistics center on ul. Ciepła in Łomża began operations on June 9, 2025. This is an important investment not only for the company but also for the entire region, which gains modern infrastructure and additional jobs.

The launched warehouse has an area of 6,603 sqm, of which 2,721 sqm is designated for the so-called cross-docking zone maintained at a constant temperature of 2–6°C. There are 20 loading docks, which allows for the efficient handling of large shipment volumes. The facility also features a special Ultra Fresh chamber (0–2°C), intended for products such as fresh fish or meat. The warehouse also offers 3 independent freezer chambers with a total capacity of over 3,000 pallets at a temperature of –23°C and a separate contract logistics zone (2,044 m²).

According to information provided by the company, the facility has been equipped with solutions to reduce its environmental impact. These include photovoltaic installations, heat pumps, and modern transport equipment powered by lithium-ion batteries. The entire fleet meets the EURO 6 emission standard.

In the logistics of fresh products, time is of the essence. Timely service delivery is key, while maintaining the highest quality and, most importantly, the safety of food products - says Tomasz Polański, regional director at Fresh Logistics Polska.

The new warehouse not only improves service quality but also impacts the local labor market. The company has hired new people for both warehouse and office roles. The expansion of logistics operations is also significant for businesses in the region.

Fresh Logistics expands its logistics center in Robakowo near Poznań
The Łomża branch of Fresh Logistics has been operating since 2008. Over 17 years, its monthly volume of handled pallets has grown from 20,000 to 190,000. Thanks to the new center, it will be possible to further increase these values and improve delivery flexibility, including to the Baltic states, which are an important direction for expansion.
